transcendence in flight
lastly, briefly i was concerned that my tumblr did not reflect me, but rather was increasingly a reproduction of what i thought people wanted to see, with inauthentic trite additions that were sasha-lite but looking through my pics, they are in fact evocatively beautiful and very me. and its silly that me as an individual creeps in without notice but upon reflection is overwhelming.
now pondering how individuality is a culture construction - a very different tumble-blog indeed
i should add that i find the verbization “to tuble” as in for tumblr, MUCH more phonetically pleasing as “to tweet” for twitter, which i dont use.
i quit tumblr a while back (did you notice?) because i got to competitive and stat-obsessed with it.
but now i think i miss it - i miss the visual stimulation, like looking at pretty pictures was good for my life
so i think i will try being back - but not obsessed with it and doing it too much instead of work, but if i have to waste time on something, it might as well be aesthetically valuable and accessible to other people
also i keep tooling around with the idea of starting a blog, and thus far tumblr represents by far my most successful venture into the blog/diary medium - thats go to be worth something.
i like the format - a lot, and the departure from narrative (though sasha’s new tumbls may be more wordy less picy, or maybe not, or maybe both we’ll see)
so no pressure…just an image experiment
